Wow, better. Maybe there’s something to this “bike fitting” stuff.

Where the hump on his back go?

i think it’s probably about the same position. when he gets on the road that trainer position is going to disappear, and suddenly look a lot like the pic of him riding on the road.

For one he is riding the nose on the P3 and not on the specialized on the trainer…as soon as he scoots forward on the specialized and gets less stretched out, that hump will likely come back.

And moves his hands back. The pic on the Specialized has his fingers on the shifters while the pic on the Cervelo his hands are further back. Move the hands, moves the elbows, which moves the upper arm more upright compressing his position.

His seat is NOT too high. I think it’s a first.

w/r/t the “seat is not too high” comment, is the crank anywhere near the 6 o’clock position? I’m not saying the saddle is or is not too high, but for the pundits who like to expound on this without any real background, I’m not sure your picture does this justice

He’s way too stretched out in that picture (you can almost see the tightness as he holds his head up). Between UCI regs and the mega miles he puts in in road position, I’m guessing he won’t move his saddle, so the bars need to come back and up a bit. Like others have said, if he actually races on this bike, he’ll “fold up” by moving forward on the saddle and sliding his elbows back
