Wetsuits (20)

What is the best-cheapest wetsuit available?

One that fits. One that works with your swim skills. Used is going to be cheaper than new. Like others have stated, “it depends”.

What is the best-cheapest wetsuit available?

Xterra periodically has a sale where a full wetsuit goes for $150 and a sleeve-less wetsuit goes for $130. That’s the best price I’ve seen for new wetsuits. Think hard about a used suit; there are lots of threads discussing how people pee in their wetsuits.

What is the best-cheapest wetsuit available?

I bought HUUB’s lowest-end full-sleeve suit, and I really dig it. It really is a good suit. I previously had an XTerra, and it was a decent suit as well, but seemed more delicate.

Cheapest good wetsuit that I’ve seen is the Xterra Vortex Sleeveless.

I got mine a few weeks ago for $130

I’ve seen a lot of people say xterra makes great wetsuits. Having said that, I’ve heard even more people say you get what you paid for. I’ve had good experience with Aquasphere. Dan Empfield also wrote some great reviews on wetsuits over the summer. I seriously considered buying a Zone3 wetsuit until Roka ran a sale I couldn’t resist. In the end, wear one that fits!

Ditto on the aquasphere, I bought mine this summer and used it once a week for ows as well as my tri’s, nice and comfortable and good performance.
