I have an Orca sleaveless wetsuit that split down the side with about a 8" gash (not on the seam). Is that fixable? If so, who does that kind of stuff? Should I send it back to Orca?
I’d say if it’s still under warrenty send it back.
If not I’ve had good luck by using neoprene (wetsuit) glue that I’ve gotten at a dive shop
Put some masking tape on the back side (inside) of the gash to form a back border, and then generously (within reason) use the glue to fix the gash. Depending on where the gash is you may need to put a piece of tape on the outside to help hold it together while the glue dries.
THe other option you might have if it’s not covered by orca is to call them, or to take it to somebody that specializes in wetsuit repair.
