1/2 IM tomorrow. Water temp should be right at 78deg, air temp at the start is supposed to be 60deg. I have a Ironman Instinct Long John and a Ironman Stealth Full suit. I feel comfortable in both. Which should I wear?

At 78, any wetsuit is too warm! I say go bibjohn unless it’s not very tight on the upper body. If you need the extra floatation from the full suit, you have bigger worries and should spend more time in the pool (like I am!).
the long sleeve wetsuit will be faster. But if your going to be in the water a long time I’d probably go sleeveless.

Talk about bigger worries! I just added it up, in the last 7 years of my life I have swum 12,000yds. 4000 of it in races. The farthest I swam this summer in one workout was 1500m. I was a lifeguard in HS and worked pretty hard at Total Immersion for one year in college. (So at least I won’t drowned.) Then came the 6 1/2 yr retirement.
