As a roadie, anything that annoys roadie traditionalists is OK by me (heard on a group ride: “your sleeveless jersey isn’t LEGAL, you know!” – Well EXCUUUUSE me !).
Have a buddy that used to race a totally pink track bike at T’Town – for no other reason than to mess with the heads of the guys he sprinted against.
I have an LG helmet as well, what you charge for a nice custom job,…maybe some flames fading back front to rear, in some nice reds, oranges, and yellows. what do you think…?
Is it legal to paint your helmet, somewhere I remember that it may not be allowed…ansi stuff or something.?
Does the owner seriously ride with the saddle at that angle? If so, he should’a spent the $$ on a bike that fits and a saddle he could be comfortable on. I can only imagine how much time he spends trying to shove himself back up that saddle. Just because Litespeed thinks a saddle tilted at that angle looks cool in its Blade ads doesn’t mean its a good thing.
Other than that, its loud and obnoxious. Perfect for getting under the nails of snobbish members of the peleton. I like it.
Whoa, that is sweet. Kind of puts my krylon “hard hat orange” track bike to shame. Does the disc make your competitors dizzy, of does it hypnotize them into riding slow?
I was thinking of painting my LG helmet also, only a little less flashy. Is painting your helmet considered an illegal modification? Does the paint compromise the helmet’s ability to absorb a blow?
