Weight loss challenge - week 6 weigh in

Welcome to the week 6 weigh-in for the 2009 Slowtwitch weight loss challenge. We had a tough weigh-in last week, we lost a lot of participants, but did not lose a lot of weight. Hopefully this week’s progress will be a little more advanced without superbowl in the mix.

Put your results/stats here. If you are just joining us - put your initial weight (current), and your goal weight on the 1st day of spring. Target weight - 133 pounds (WOOHOO I made it!)
Initial weight - 143 pounds
Last week - 135.5 pounds

I’m not sure WHF happened. I thought I was doing pretty good although my weight bounced all over the place during the week.
This morning I weighed in at 174. A 3 lb gain.
Damn, I hate when that happens.
I’m hoping for a better week next week.

Still on pace, all is good! Went as low as 202 during the week, but Monday is always a bit higher.

I wasn’t able to exercise thursday thru sunday because I felt like crap, but I also didn’t really feel like eating either, so I guess it all worked out in the end.

Big week! I started biking to work the last two weeks of January and that is starting to pay off. I also finally had a week where there wasn’t something going on like my brother being in town, super bowl, etc…

Todays weight 200 on the nose, I wanted to be under 200 and worked out pretty hard this weekend so I’m aiming to be under next week.

Out of curiosity, how is everyone weighing? I suppose it doesn’t matter, so long as one is consistent. I was 195 when I awoke. I was 197 after breakfast. I was 195 again after working out. For this challenge, I’ve been emailing my highest Monday morning weight.

Hmm. I get out of bed, strip down to nothing if I wasn’t already there, pee, then jump on the scale. I weigh myself in no other manner and at no other time of day.

One thing I’m noticing, is that the last time I was at this weight I was much more “ripped” than I am now, more veins and muscle striations showing. I was training about the same, maybe a little more. I’m wondering if I’ve lost more muscle than last time and still have body fat, but my body fat tester is showing me as around 8%. Or, perhaps my memory is faulty.
