Weight Loss Challenge week 4 - SUMMARY

Below are the week 4 results of the ST Weight Loss Challenge, 2009 edition. The linked spreadsheet shows the data, should you be interested in further analysis.

First, we have lost a combined total of 166.8 pounds! HOWEVER, our stated target totals up to 632 pounds. Still, nice work everybody!

Current leaders:

**Total weight lost ** - SBRW at 11 pounds lost. Sweet! Big boy, Brent1, and littlefoot are tied for 2nd at 9 pounds lost.
% of goal reached - SBRW has become our first challenger to reach 100% of his goal weight. Congrats SBRW!!! Next up is littlefoot at 75% attained, then yours truly at 65%.
Pounds to goal - littlefoot has only 3 pounds to his goal. I’m next at 3.5 pounds to mine. I might drop my goal weight by a few pounds next week.
% of body weight lost - sitting in the number one spot this week - littlefoot at 5.29%, SBRW 2nd at 5.21% and Brent1 is in 3rd at 4.97%

Just for a little extra push - 2 participants are still hanging out at their initial weight - do140.6 and pito00.

If you did not weigh in this week, your information has been suppressed. Simply weigh-in again next monday or tuesday to reappear in the next set of results.

Nice job everybody! Spreadsheet linked… http://spreadsheets.google.com/...mCIJshlaTd66wFv5XlIA

Looks like the Clydesdale class will be missing a few members this year, way to go keep up the good work.

Thanks for all the effort!

Not sure if the Monday morning weigh-in is a stroke of brilliance, or just pure evil. Either way, it works.

I tell ya what, it really keeps me from eating more on the weekends. It really does.

This is definitely keeping me focused on the goal. Thanks for grabbing the ball on this.

x-2 Thanks,

I’m encouraged to see that I lost the most weight–as of last Sunday. That’s when it happened: I reached my goal and celebrated by baking a chocolate cake and bringing it up to my local bike shop to celebrate (oh ya, and to purchase a 2008 Trek TTX 9.5). What happened to that cake? After a couple of slices (oh ya, and I brought some Jamison too), I somehow racked up two pounds, so now I’m back at 202. Time to get back on the lean meat and vegie train.

Is it too late for me to join in?

Thanks for all the effort!

** I’ll tell ya what, it really keeps me from eating more on the weekends. It really does.** **** I agree-although I can tell you now (sunday night) that I will not do well tomorrow morning! Wife’s birthday this weekend, and we had 2 nice dinners, and superbowl! Ouch!
