Weight loss challenge - week 3 weigh in here

Good Monday to everyone. Post your week 3 weight here, and any other stats you’d like to proudly display.

My week 3 numbers:

Current weight - 138 pounds
Starting weight - 143 pounds
Last week’s weight - 140.5
Loss this week - 2.5 pounds
pounds to goal - 5

Last week I think I was at 221, today at 218. 9lbs lost since New Years Eve, basically by cutting out pop and just making all around better food choices, i.e. zero fast food.

Week 3:

currently: 174.6
starting: 177.4
last week: 175
lost this week: 0.6
lbs left to goal (of 162): 12.6

So last week, I dropped 3lbs, which I was very happy with, but I was feeling a little run down and not recovering that well. I decided to eat a little more and I think it helped, but maybe I ate a bit too much this weekend. Also didn’t get out for my long run yesterday- I think that really cost me! … but I start a new week today!

Does anyone else experience the sluggishness/bad recovery?

Fell off the health wagon this week. Found out my department was being shut down by the university, which means I am back on the job market… A bit too much alcohol, pizza, and chocolate as a result, but now I’m back at it.

I’ll take it considering I didn’t run at all due to post-Goofy soreness…in addition to the bad eating associated w/ my wedding anniversary & son’s 7th b-day.

Spent the last 2 weekends and all week inbetween putting in a new floor in our bedroom and hallway.
No training at all. I’ll take the lose and start again this week.

I was off to a rip roaring start this week and was down to 164 Saturday morning. Did a really hard ride, dipped deep into the reserves, and was 166 yesterday too. I have a tendency to retain some water after a hard ride, so I think I’m still on the right track. We’ll see next week. I have a Road Race Saturday. : -)

Lost only 1 lb, no running or biking but good nutritional changes and most important of all “no alcohol since Jan 5th” this is the hardest part of training.

I’m only 2 weeks in on my plan.

Stuck at 214 this week, same as last week. Kids out of shool today so that’s not helping get the week off to a good start. Guess its kiddie care at the YMCA for them today!

How much of a calorie deficit is too much?

If I am burning 3500 or so, based on training and a basic RMR test… How many should I eat?

(Realizing that this is not an exact science, but I figure fit day should be +/- 10%)
