I’m replacing my cheap FORTE CR-150’s and read on the internet they have a weight limit of 176LBS.
Didn’t realize this - I’m 185-190.
Why would a pedal have a weight limit? What would the 20 extra pounds do? bend it?!
Yeah, the axles can snap. Most of the ti-axled pedals have weight limits.
they snap, like scary snap, and then they pull a brake lever out of your chest (true story)
just don’t buy ti, i’m only 155lbs and am a bit scared of Ti spindles although I’ll throw pretty much any other lightweight part on my bike (okay, I’m scared of scary light seatposts too…)
