Weekly Swim workout 4/14/2005

Seven weeks have passed sinse the last 1,000 yard time trial to adjust your repeat swims.

Warm up 200 swim finger drag

300 kick use a variety of forms

100 scooters

200 swim Right arm down left arm back

8 X 25s on 15 sec. R.I. build speed 1-4, 5-8

1000 swim for time. When you have finished divide your time by 10 and get your average 100 yard time.

Kick 5 X 100s with 15 sec. R.I. push the pace

20 X 50 with a 10 sec. R.I. steady, steady, steady

During the 1,000 swim I videotaped the group and afterard whoed each lane individually what they looked like and discussed points of improvement. This went on while the other lanes were still swimming.

It is time to up the pace. The racing season is upon us.
