TSR is having it’s own website built. Understanding I am not looking to become a dot com mogul or even make any money what are the best ways to promote a site and get some kind of green out of it?
Get yourself mentioned disapprovingly on the Rush Limbaugh show. Pure gold.
What is this TSR you refer to?
Have a quality product, provide good customer service and then drive as much traffic to the site as possible.
And use a catalog system for ordering (Like Amazon.com)
You need a mission statement.

i’ve owned a small internet company for about 4 years and have been in the internet industry for about 10 (i didn’t exist much before then)
contact me and we can setup a time to talk - i really enjoy the forums, so i’d be glad to ask a few questions and try to send you in the right direction for what you want to accomplish (without breaking the bank) or getting taken - there are lots of used car salesmen in the internet business and i wouldn’t want to see you go that route.

Move the hottie thread to the TSR site.
Make it a member only site. Put a live video feed into your house which includes the john. People will pay to watch you pinch a loaf.
Sell marketing (spam) to companies then spam the living cr$p out of anyone and everyone who visits the site.
Sell the names, profiles and buying habits of all the TSR site visitors.
