Good for at least two hours to ride right now?

Since it’s probably moving west to east, looks like you’re good to go.

Jodi

I don’t understand…are you allergic to water?

I don’t understand…are you allergic to water?
Yes, in California we are allergic to water since it normally never rains.

And the correct answer was 1:20 minutes. Got soaked afterwards.

So, since I have never ridden in the rain since I was a little kid, what do I need to do to the bike? Dry it off and re-lube the chain?

wow. how have you not wound up riding in the rain at some point, until now? at least on vacation or somethign…

I been lucky. 2,500 miles last year all on dry pavement.

Yeah,

People in SoCal must be softening up big time (if you consider that the majority of Californians are transplants).

Went riding 3 hrs on Sat. on routes where you normally encounter hundreds of “professional looking” cyclists. Did maybe encounter 10 riders total, and all of them after the clouds had moved away.

Best part was the variety of attires displayed by those handfull of riders. From short-short to full blown winter gear.
People forget or don’t know how to deal with rain here in SoCal.
Neither as drivers nor as cyclists.

B.T.W.:
I stayed dry for the whole ride… not counting some splahes on the shoes from some “river-crossings” and some sprinkles.
Great riding weather otherwise.

One weekend closer to Oceanside. Hope it will be a soaker!
