GF?? You mentioned anything age related to a woman?? Tom Tom Tom. You have been sniffing wayyyy too much tubular glue. Didn’t your mother ever tell you…
seriously though man…you don’t look so old in your pics
Why do everyone think this stage is so epic? Alright it’s the Alp D’Huiz and it’s an ITT, but it’s not gonna seal the tour because there are 4 more stages and a long ITT.
prediction - lance in first, basso second, down by 1 minute. lance blew the doors off of basso at the end of that last climb yesterday. shows what he’s capable of.
You’re not old, you’re just a curmudgeon. Being a grumpy old man is a state of mind, not a reflection of age. When 70-year-olds swim faster than you, you need to rethink your definition of old.
Wait, are you saying that Tom is 70? That must mean his GF is 10 and he tells her she looks 16!!! I’m confused…
With reference to your first post in the thread, I am actually pround to say that I vividly remember watching that other famous Armstrong take the first steps on the moon 35 years ago. I was on a cross-country camping trip with my family in the Summer of '69 and we were in a camp-ground in Big Sur, CA. About 40 people were all huddled around a small TV set that another family in the camp-ground had with them. We all watched in awe as the ghost-like image of Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon.
As for the Armstrong that we all know better here - Lance - indeed, he is setting and making history and I am very happy and proud to see it unfolding. I recall, sharing a beer with Lance or “junior” as the others at the table such as Mark Allan and Scott Tinley referred to him, at the Bermuda International Triathlon back in the late '80’s. Little did any of us know that we would be in the presence of such greatness.
