So he can use an aero front wheel in the time trials at the Tour De France.
Was it he running the Campy Bora?
At the first TT he had something that looked about as deep as a 303. Today’s wheel seemed even less aero.
Okay, so it was someone else on the Bora—which made me go “hmmm” in itself at the time I saw it—so good grief, WTF is Menchov thinking? Looks like a training wheel and someone forgot to put the aero wheel on there before he rolled up to the ramp or something. Wow.
I have a zipp or H3C I’d sell him. Have his people talk to my people.
How about getting someone that understands one or two things about positioning and aerodynamics to help Sastre?
Heh. According to Dan:
“…csc/cervelo is the first example of an entire team adopting the position, from the team management on down. immediately upon this occurring, csc became a force in the TTT, and in ITTs, that it wasn’t before.”
Looks like they missed someone. Too bad he was also the teams highest finisher (and podium spot loser due to a poor TT).
I had this exact thought while watching Sastre in the ITT this morning.
