I know the tank is big, but these creatures are used to the open ocean. I really like aquariums, but I never liked keeping big creatures including killer whales or whale sharks captive. The drooping fins of the whales always makes me sad for some reason.
No matter the efforts, simulated nature will never be as rich and perfect as real Nature.
True, but complex creatures take time to figure out. If MBA can solve whites, Atlanta can solve whale sharks.
I am torn on whether or not these creatures should be included in public display, but there is merit in the education argument.
