We can't speculate about who's dirty... but what about who is clean?

Come on…everyone knows that Cervelo is a secret misspelling of the words levelco…which is the name for a demon in an online video game. This demon is the demon of drugs and typically only inhabit those who do them. Although he , on occasion, also will sway those pure as the driven snow, so to speak, to dip their minds into a certain euphoric state. Is this mere coincindence? I think not.

ps- in case noone has a sense of humor, I am making it all up.

Well, that’s a given. :stuck_out_tongue:

100% clean? At this point, who the f**k knows.

Here’s who I think are class guys based on what I’ve read and seen in interviews, etc. And would be surprised if they were caught doping.

Voigt
Vandevelde
Horner
Leipheimer
Hincapie
Cancellara
Sastre
O’Grady

Not an all-inclusive list, but those are some names

I read an article yesterday by Tom Boonen (on Velonews maybe? I don’t remember …). He said he truly believes Cadel Evans is clean … but doesn’t have much faith in the rest of the lot …

I WANT to believe Disco as a whole is clean … I love watching Contador ride and Levi seems like a stand up guy … but so did Tyler …

There are only two people who know who is dirty or clean… God and the rider… anything from anyone else is just silly.

I think all the riders who’s names we don’t recognize because they are getting shelled everyday by the cheaters are the most likley.

I am going to stand up for the French riders, too -who seem too terrible to be doping. I mean that in the best possible way.

That’s funny. You mean as someone else pointed out: Americans or guys who ride Cervelo. Unfortunately, I don’t believe anyone is 100% clean. It’s just a matter of who gets caught.

I’d like to think a few guys are.

Casar
Boogerd
Leipheimer

And did you see the interview on Versus with Axel Merckx, guy got all choked up.

The racing has been awesome this year. I’m a fan for life.

yeah, I guess that is the case…victim of reading and watching primarily American coverage.

Moreau if he was the guy that was being discussed in that leaked IM discussion between and that came out as part of a recent batch of Armstrong allegations.

It’s really funny to see all these lists. If you go back a few years her are some guys that would have also been on everyones lists.

Landis
Vino
Millar
Tyler
Zable
Indurian
Ullrich
Basso
Pantani
Ect.

All really nice guys that had great reputations, and never would have been on suspected doping lists, before they actually got of course…I’m sure that Francois could add a dozen or more well respected names to it too.

Word on the street is Moreau is pure as the driven snow. No kidding. Impressive. He’s a class guy with a new baby just arrived. I like him. Good man. I was hoping he would give the Tour back to the French. Hopefully next year.

That may be the kiss of death for Christophe. You said the same thing about Frankie, if I remember…

Mrs. Andreau had an interesting interview on “The Competitors” recently. For whatever reason, she’s really got it out for Lance. Apparently, there’s a global conspiracy to protect his innocence (she may have mentioned that he was also the 13th hijacker  ).

I’m not saying she’s lying/wrong… with Nike, Oakely, etc. in the loop, there’s lots of money tied up in Mr. Livestrong.

I don’t think many riders are clean, and I definitely don’t put any stock in what riders say or how nice their families are. Remember Tyler Hamilton and his dog? And almost every rider who gets caught expresses his shock at the test results and swears up and down that he never doped.

I don’t know how sponsors can continue to put money into this sport. It’s just an embarassment waiting to happen. Last week i was the biggest tour fan around, but I really couldn’t care less at this point. It’s a little odd because I certainly wasn’t surprised when riders started getting caught–I guess knowing for sure makes it harder to ignore.

I like what Voigt had to say after yesterdays stage, which makes me feel he is clean. -
“I am fed up with this. They make our life difficult and complicated. Through their obvious stupidity, they risk the existence of the teams, including soigneurs, mechanics, bus drivers and so on.”

Like wise Brad Wiggins is alway scathingly against the dopers and his press conference today held no punches - http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/web/site/BC/bcf/News2007/20070727_brad_wiggins_press_call_transcript.asp.

I also think Mark Cavandish is also clean (wants those caught doping to go to prision) as are a number of the young riders who have not come from the era when doping was at it peak. Ironically I think there is a very real chance in terms of numbers doping that this year is probably the cleanist for years, it is just that the testing is now better.

At least cycling is willing to damage its reputation to weed out the dopers whilst many sports are willing to keep it all under wraps.

It is common knowledge that the french aren’t clean
.

When did Indurain test positive ?
or
Why isn´t Lance in your list?

Don’t forget Museew. Riis probably would have been on some people’s list, too.

Did I miss something about Indurain?

I don’t think I’d be comfortable naming a rider who I thought had never doped, but I am sure there are plenty of riders who haven’t doped in the last couple of years but who have at some point in their career.

Indurain never tersted postive however Lemond has heavely implemented him, and armstrong to many questions have been raised but other riders, teamates and respectable writters not to draw at least suspesion go over to MATT Decanio site stolen underground for a summary.

But for what is worth past members of the British track team, Millar since retern, T-mobile, csc riders, Moreau as well as most of the french riders.

I don’t remember exactly when it was, but it was back when you got a two month suspension in the off season, and it wasn’t widely reported. Just like the British fellow I called out, and everyone screamed at me, Malcom Elliot…ALl the Brits said I was crazy and did not know shit, you see he was a hero in Britian. After an exaustive search, we finally found his positive. They are buried form the old days, and really hard to find. But I was actually racing against him at the time, so I had the first line hearsay knowledge…
