I promised my kids a Wii for Christmas and can’t find one anywhere – at least not at a normal retail price. Anybody got a source for me?
…and no, I don’t need a lecture about the evils of video games. My boys play sports year-round, skateboard, ride bikes and read a lot. My eldest was admitted to Mensa as a 9-year-old. The video games don’t seem to be hurting them.
Sunday mornings at Best Buy have yielded lots of people lots of luck. Ive been screwed because my Sunday rides get back too late, but if you care enough you can get out there early and work out later.
thanks
“Need” one? Like you are going to stop living if one doesn’t appear into your life? “Need,” is a strong word, my friend; use it sparingly and only when you mean it.
Funny - I just heard on the radio that by mid-December there is supposed to be a lot of availability. Something like 4 million units coming out.
That is nothing, come January 1 there is going to be 86 billion units coming out. Yes, the strategy is going just as planned. Thank God the masses are complying and doing just as they are told.
How is Nintendo more greedy than any other company? It’s a business, the goal is to make money. As long as they aren’t doing anything illegal or unethical, I don’t have a problem with it.
If you cannot find a Wii, the XBox360 is awesome. Personally, if I am not training, I don’t want to have to pseudo train by swinging a little controller around. If I’m gonna play videogames, I want to lay on the couch. If I was going to play tennis, I’d want to play real tennis. And if I was going to take over a small South American country armed to the teeth leading a small band of commandos, I’d prefer to not have to move anything but my thumbs to do it.
But since Nintendo is not increasing the cost, and the lack of availability might drive people to an Xbox. How is this herd mentality or something greed based by the corporation? Heck if I could see one, and they were available I might get one for my kids, heard that new controller can get you off your seat and get some exercise.
