Watts increase to Time saved

I’ve looked around and can’t find anything to do this. Basically I want to know a simple calculation to convert an increase in watts to an expected decrease in time trial time over either 10 miles or 25 miles, assuming all else is equal and unchanged.

So if I know my time for a 10 mile at X watts, how many seconds faster would I be if I averaged an extra 10 watts next time, or whatever.

Does anyone know of an online ‘calculator’ for this sort of thing, or the formula?

Thanks in advance

power required increases roughly with velocity cubed, which means it takes a lot more power to increase speed from 28 to 29 mph than it does to get from 18 to 19 mph.

Coggan’s rule of thumb is 5w=.5sec/km
