Waterloo tri & One Hell of a Ride: Who's going?

Any one doing these this weekend? I must be crazy but I figure I’m going to get slaughtered in the Waterloo tri so why not make it as bad as possible and do the Hell of a Ride on Saturday. I’ll probably only do the 54 mile, as I promised a friend I’d do the ride it with him.

How many of you will do an event rain or shine? After watching everyone hit the “bitumen” in the TdF I think I’m a fair weather racer.

Richard

I’m racing at Waterloo with my buddy Michelle. Picnic after.

With IM Canada looming, I am going to put in the 100 on Saturday with the One Helluva Ride, and make Waterloo a hard brick workout.

Tom, do you and your ‘buddy’ want to ride afterwards?

I promised her a picnic and a nap.

My much more competitive better half and I will be at Waterloo. I’ve been running barefoot across sharp stones and broken glass to get ready for the run to T1!

I’ll be there with a few friends ,Dan Clapp, John Loudermilk and the world famous Zoe Metro. Eric we plan on riding after the race if you want to hook up. I have IMLP in a few weeks so I need just a little bit longer ride. My family and I are camping out there so it makes for a great training weekend!

Zoe is on mission to get out of the water before the sun goes down. It might be close but I think she might be able by 1 or 2 min. I think that might be a 1 min. faster than you Jeff , if you had your camper strap to your butt. SORRY ZOE had to say it since you are world famous and every thing.

TWF Zoe Metro has made it safely out of the water, and avoided being chased down by DONKEY (who may or may not have had the trailer strapped to his ass). Now clean and dry at home eating potato salad. As fas as I can tell, the sun is still up there Milk…

Had a great race in Waterloo yesterday. That coupled with a solid bike ride on Saturday made for a nice last weekend of training. Now it’s time to get mentally prepared for Lake Placid.

Congrats to all who raced Waterloo and the Hulluva ride…quite a brick. See you all at the races in the coming months.

Two great races in two days. Big fun. Anchor Bay on Saturday and Waterloo on Sunday.

Nice picnic after Waterloo too. Big fun. That was the first time I ever actually did Waterloo- all the previous years I worked at it.
