Thanks for this! Did you do it? If so, where did you take all those clips? For a lot of them, I would’ve loved to have longer one…

Really enjoyed it.

very cool.

Awesome

Brilliant!

Very enjoyable!! Thanks for sharing!!!

That was from ESPN right around the Millennium, right???

I loved the Payton clips- what a great football player and better person, what a loss.

Funny how on a Tri page there wasbout .5 seconds off cycling (Lance) and swimming (Spitz) and not a ton of running (Johnson and Mary Decker Slaney)

That was really great. A couple of very notable athletes missing though. Bo Jackson, Jackie Robinson, and Pete Rose.

Yea, I was looking for the Robinson clip too. But, at least a head shot Jim Thorpe was in it (very first clip, I believe). Too bad there really is no footage of that guy.

video collection is awesome.

If you add, Lance, Spitz and Slaney together, that’s almost as much time Tony Hawk got (720’s take some time) … sounds about right.

Did Tommy Smith’s “Black Power” salute count as running or a political statement???

Actually Bo is in there. First half there is a clip of him running up the centerfield wall.

Sorry, for some reason I thought that was Ricky Henderson. This weather blows, Sunday is not looking much better.

Nice clip…although I would have added a few…and taken a few out.

What really struck me was that although I do enjoy my triathlon experience, my college hockey and lacrosse days are more precious. Perhaps from the comradery of team sports…

what is the song that it’s set to @ the end…i cannot remember the name? “sing for the laugh and sing for the tear…”?

thanks

I didn’t see Pete Rose but Bo and Robinson were both in there. They show Robinson standing on the dug out steps and Bo running up the fence. I still think that is the coolest play I have ever seen.

Aerosmith’s, “Dream on”
.

Very cool, but I can’t believe how much it bugged me that they included a frame or two of the O.J. slow-speed chase. After all he did on the football field, they had to show the Bronco chase? Argh! (Insert picture of me trying to relax and overlook these few bad milliseconds of an otherwise quite enjoyable video clip)

thanks!
