It’s a long mtb race/ride put on by the warrior’s society in march. Kinda like a mtb-marathon type of ride with sag stops and time cut-offs.

SICK, SICK, SICK ride. Last year was brutal, it was a 7 1/2 hour mud fest. I do recall seeing a tandem, and a few single speeds. One thing you need to remember that it’s COLD at the top, it was in the 30’s then you get back to the bottom and your in the 60’s.

With my schedule, I am finally able to do the VQ. Every year, it overlapped with work and couldnot make it happen. I have been going back and forth, daring myself to try it on the single-speed vs. the geared bike. I guess I’ll make up my mind as the date gets closer.

Either way, the forecast is going to be “A 100% chance of pain” that day!!! LOL
