Warm Up Cream or Oil.... Recommendation?

OK, what passes for winter here in Texas has started. At 59 years of age I have a touch of tendonitis as well as just need to warm up the ole muscles when biking and running.
Any recommendations for a warm up oil or cream? Not looking for Ultra Hot Stuff just something that will warm the muscles 'til warmth from exercise kicks in.

Many Thanks,

I picked up some Tri-a-care at an expo I was at recently. I like it.

The website is www.try-a-tri.com but I’m not sure if you can buy the warm up cream online, but you can contact them from the info on the website.

http://www.bodyglide.com/images/muscle_product.jpgThis is what I use. Not too hot, not too stinky.

There is some other stuff on the market that I have used such as Cura-Heat w/ liquid Capsaicin. (Liquid rub on) WOA- be careful it is nearly hot and stays hot, rather strong!

I use Swedish Bitters w/ capsaicin.

I just ordered some, to give it a shot. Looks like it has less “junk” in it as well.

i live in Maine, sometimes it gets a bit chilly.

I use Greyhound Juice. http://greyhoundjuice.com/

Don’t get any of that hot body glide on your…ummm…tender parts. That isn’t pleasant.

Looks like I will have to try this one too. I like BodyGlide fine, except that it is a petroleum based product… nuff said? Anyone else have suggestions while my cc is out? I just started Skate Skiing, and I am a wee bit sore.

I don’t know if this stuff is available in the US, but I bought it in Canada. It’s outstanding product

www.qoleum.be

Qoleum hands down is the best product.

Available in the US?

Y’all are aware that these products merely stimulate the nerve endings in the outer skin layers…right? They don’t actually get below the skin and warm up any muscles or tendons. The best way to warm up for exercise is to start slowly.

where did you buy it in Canada?

www.worldcycling.com.

yes, slo-mo put up a link to world cycling products you can get it there, they also sell some other stuff that I have never tried.

That’s kind of what I was thinking.

If I have time, I like to warm up for a run by doing 5-10 easy minutes on the bike trainer followed by a mild stretch.

yes- and it feels good…
