Hey,
I am looking for some sram rival or apex parts. I am hoping for a set of shifter, and derailleurs , braze on and possibly brakes. I am fine if they have some miles on them. I don’t want worn out or completely beat up parts. If you have what I’m looking for please provide pics and prices.
I am in Olympia. I am working with a budget, aren’t we all. Anyway I am just at the point where I am price comparing. I will get back to you on this. Thanks again, Gene
Competitive cyclist is having a pretty good sale on rival parts. With the LOYAL discount code, you could get a full groupset (including crankset) for about $400 (add something to bring the pre-discount total to $500, gets you a $100 discount).
I am in the process of stripping a frame of a full Rival kit, so have a good selection of parts available depending on what you are interested in. If you let me know what you already have and what you are still looking for I can get you pics and an idea of what I would be looking for. These will be budget parts as they are 3 years old, but off of my wife’s bike with very limited miles.
Hey,
Thanks for getting back to me. I am now just starting the search. I am looking for both shifters, possibly brakes and rear derailleur. If you could give me a price and pics that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gene
Hey,
I am looking for shifters, brakes and rear derailleur and possibly a 175mm compact crank. If you can give me a price for these parts I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks,Gene
You’ll have to play around with the competitive cyclist site yourself for the details, but it was just over $400 for shifters, crankset, brakes, front and rear derailleur, and some bartape to push the price over $500 pre-discount. I don’t think they have 175mm compact cranksets for cheap right now though.
I have a 175mm SRAM Red 50x34 Crankset for $130 shipped conus. The logos have been removed and a clearcoat reapplied and there are some scratches on the rings but the teeth and carbon are in great condition.
Thanks for this. It comes out to like $472 without a rear cassette. Not a bad deal. Wish I had the funds to order it.
If anyone else here who has made offers to this person, I am in the same market. Mainly needs Shifters, F/R Deraileur. I think the FSA Gossimer I have will work with that stuff.
