Want to improve your recovery? Buy a new mattress!

I bought a Simmons BeautyRest something or other… ($$$$$$$$$$$) and it rules. I sleep better, my back feels killer and it is super, super nice.

The damn thing was a lot of money and it is way higher off the ground than my previous bed. I had to make a little stool for one of my cats to use to jump up on the bed since it is too high now.

The thing is an incredible. Expensive but cool.

You sure it doesn’t have anything to do with the new girlfriend?

I completely agree with Tom. I bought a new mattress 1 year and a half ago and it was one of my best investments.

I have slept a lot better and it is way high off the ground. I have to be very careful getting in and out of bed, but it was oh so worth it.

I think mine is a Simmons BeautyRest…

New girlfriend and cat?

Do they have the same mattress for infants? my 6month old daughter needs to sleep more, as do i.

Very good info Tom, but less cat talk. You lose “cool points”.

Tom, excuse me going off thread but did you get my e mail last week with the Bio racer measurements and photo to arrive at a recommendation for either a small or medium Kaliber to be fitted by you on?

Agreed. I was having lower back and hip issues until I invested in a new mattress. No more problems…

(No “cat stool” though. My Boxer jumps up just fine.)

Anyone own that Tempurpedic swedish mattress seen on TV comercials? Looks good but costs a few Ks.

I do and absolutly love it. I paid half price for it because they want me to sell their product but I would pay full price to get it again. It is SOOO comfortable!

I bought a TempurPedic mattress a few years ago, partly to help with recovery & chronic ITB, and party because we needed a new mattress.

The TempurPedic mattress is expensive. EXPENSIVE. (Less than a P3, though.) And it takes a few weeks to get used to it. But I am never going back to a traditional “spring” mattress. When I go to hotels (even good hotels with good mattresses) or stay over with friends I miss the comfort and feel of the TempurPedic. It’s worth the money. Too late for Tom, unfortunately, but if anyone else is trying to decide on a new mattress, TempurPedic gets my strong recommendation.

That was a contributing factor. We slept 11 hours last night.
