Try the brooks line of neutral shoes and also the Nike Max Moto , both offer awesome cushioning with a nice fit and not too much heel ride.The asics shoes typically have lower ratio of height from fore-foot to rear foot, thus the shoes feel a little lower to the ground in the rear, Nike’s Used to be higher in ratio and give more heel lift (Not sure if still do) so you will find them a little different, although that said the Max Moto i found felt more like a nimbus shoe and Cumulus from ASICS. The Max moto does have a “Polyurathane” heel area which also feels a little different, but it does far out live the compression molded materials of EVA. But my question…why change? just try other models in the neutral catagory of ASICS?
