Just got my Wahoo kikr and starting to play around with it doing different apps ect…
However I woundered if I could somehow use the " cadence " off my stages meter and combine it with the Wahoo so I can have cadence info that the wahoo doesn’t provide

It depends what software you’re using. It’s certainly technically possible to do, and I bet some of the more robust software out there like Trainer Road would let you do that.
So that leads to another powermeter question. With TrainerRoad, if the bike has an SRM, does the app offer the ability to pair with the SRM and use power and cadence from the SRM, which is then turn used to set/adjust the Kickr’s resistance level which would eliminate disparity between power out put of the Kickr and SRM? The basis for the question is based on my experience with the Tacx Bushido which can be paired with an ANT+ powermeter - in my case an SRM - which is then used to set motorbrake resistance levels. Seems simple enough but in its current implementation, given the stochastic nature of data output from powermeters, Tacx does not do a very good job of calculating running averages for power. As a result, a slight change in cadence (2-3 rpm) resulting in a change in measured power output gets amplified by Tacx’s algorythm resulting in huge swings in motorbrake resistance. So a steady state tempo effort at 90% of FTP with 95 cadence that occasionally varies results in the motorbrake resistance swinging as low as 10-25% FTP then 150-200
% of FTP because your cadence momentarily spikes as a result of the much lower resistance level.

Absolutely, that’s how I run it.
Kickr - Power via Bluetooth to MacBook
Stages for Cadence, Garmin HR Strap - ANT+ to dongle on Macbook.
Here’s what I got from Bryce at TrainerRoad…
TrainerRoad allows you to connect multiple Bluetooth devices at once, but will only work with one power meter at a time. Since the Kickr measures and sends power data as well, it is considered a power meter; so we can only connect one of them with Bluetooth.
So since both devices are bilingual, the best thing to do here is to pair one of them with Bluetooth, and the other with ANT+. So maybe ANT+ for the stages and the HR monitor, and then Bluetooth for the Kickr.
Also the Stages PM likely has different power readings than the Kickr, so to keep things consistent I would recommend checking the “Use power from electronic trainer” setting in the profile tab of the desktop app.
Not currently. I am waiting for the same thing myself and from the TrainerRoad thread, it seems we are all reliant on Wahoo finding a way to make it work.
At the moment if you pair both your SRM and Kickr with TrainerRoad, the SRM power is what is displayed as your output but the Kickr manages the brake to achieve the target.
In my case this means if I pair both, TrainerRoad shows that I am consistenly under by about 10W but there is no adjustment to resistance (in erg mode) to account.
What I do instead is use TrainerRoad to control the workout (with a slightly inflated FTP in my profile) and use my Garmin for data capture which I then upload to TrainingPeaks.
Would be GREAT if the SRM could control resistance.
One more thing. You will need a separate cadence sensor if you want that on TrainerRoad (useful for auto start and pause). It can’t get cadence from the SRM without being paired with it.
