I am seriously thinking about getting the wahoo kickr. I have never trained with power. Been racing about 4 years now and have sorta plateau’d I guess you could say. Do any of you own this trainer and would you recommend it?

He’s just pulling your leg. There have been a number of threads regarding the Kickr lately. “Search” will be your best friend in this matter.

I don’t have it but know of many who do have it and love it. Many threads about it here as well. If you have the money, go for it.
it’s the nicest riding stationary trainer out ther, heavy flywheel, rock solid, no tire issues. The power works nicely, a good option is to control it with a computer with the Trainer road software. I enjoy the sufferfest videos sometimes too.

A computrainer is much more accurate, built like a tank, and has been around for ages. And I could care less about fancy sw. I just ride erg mode and let it kick my butt.

Thanks guys for all the input. That trainer sounds awesome. I searched and saw all of the threads about the trainer but they were all questions about how to do certain things. There are a million threads about every topic in the world. Doesn’t mean I wanna dig through thousands of pages of discussion to find answers to my questions.
