Hello All,

Current line on TdF:

Also I cannot find a line for any Triathlons, but there are odds for Wife Carrying World Championships … Nathans Hot Dog Eating Constest … Hurling … Pelota … come on now … where is the line for Triathlon?

What do you think?

Cheers,

Neal

Hello All,

Since the public it becoming adjusted to the doping news about TdF perhaps a new scandal will surface to keep TdF in the news.

I wonder if there is enough money wagered on the TdF to make it worthwhile to shade the race results?

The rules are stringent for not having foreign betting brands sponsering teams.

How could one team influence the race to the advantage of a race bettor? How much would it cost?

Cheers,

Neal

David Z at 200:1 could be a good bet
.

Hello Jackmott and All,

How about Robbie Mcewen and 2000:1 - might be worth betting a couple of dollars - he will for sure win some finishing sprints.

On second thought maybe not - betting odds are supposed to be a pretty good future predictor and are being used to predict hurricanes among other real world events.

So I guess smart money goes with the spread unless you have inside information.

Robbie is one of the guys that sits back in the sprinter group on the mountain stages. He essentially chooses to not win the GC on purpose, so his odds of winning are 0

David Z at least has a non zero chance since he is a good TT rider, and is a mountain domestique, so he will be up front on the mountain stages. If he outlasts his team leaders he could, in theory, win =)

But I’m rooting for Vino!
