VukaAero vs VukaBull

What are you thoughts on both the VulkaAero & VukaBull aerobars? Which set up would you consider?

Depends on the aero bars. If you like the aerobars level, then VukaAero. If you like to adjust the aero bars up or down, VukaBull. That simple.

I don’t have either, but considered getting both for a while last year.

I was very close to going with the bull with all the zipp components over the integrated. It was less expensive, I believe slightly lighter (not by much), probably just about as aero, and it gives you the flexibility to change just the base bar, or aerobar, or brake lever instead of being locked into one setup. This was important to me because what fits now might not always fit right later.

I’m interested to see what anyone that has used both thinks.

You can adjust the bars up and down on the Aero as well.

Thanks!

Not 100% sure, but looks like the VukaAero allows wider bar extension setup. I just switched to Vuka Bull from OEM Zipp bars(stock on Transition) and set at widest is Vuka Bull is more narrow than i had with stock bars.

I have both and they both have their pros and cons…

Vuka Aero:

Pros: Wider pad possibilities; sturdier/stiffer; no brake levers needed.
Cons: Heavier; adjustability of the extensions up and down is limited; pricey,

Vuka Bull:
Pros: Lighter, extensions are adjustable up and down to whatever angle you want; less expensive than aero.
Cons: Pads are not able to be set very wide

That’s an excellent summation. The VukaAero is also stiffer, which is not surprising given how meaty the wings are.

I did forget to mention that, I think, the ability to turn the extensions inward is somewhat limited on the Bull. On the Aero I have my extensions turned in about 30 degrees as I find it confortable, but on the Bull I have on my training bike it is limited as the space between the extensions is smaller than on the Aero.
