Are they really that bad that? Bizarre to me that there appears to be zero info on these. There is a ST thread from some years ago. And the folks over at BT didn’t have much to say as far as their performance.

If you want 50mm class, why not consider Bontrager Aura 5 wheels? Probably similar shaped fairing but are 23mm wide and at least they have a published chart on their aero performance http://www.bontrager.com/features/aura , and there’s a set for sale in the classifieds.

Don’t know anything about them but I saw the weight and it’s really heavy compared to others I’ve seen. 2039g per pair. Not sure that is a reason.

Yeah, the weight is an obvious buzz kill. But I understand as between the two, aero vs weight, aero offers more of a benefit. They are a pound heavier than a pair of Reynolds full carbon w/similar specs that I have been looking at.
Someone has to be buying these b/c they keep making them.
