It’s too bad the Vuelta a España isn’t on OLN this year since it looks like it’s been much more exciting than the Tour. I wonder how Lance, Jan, and some of the other big Tour names would have done with the route they have in Spain. I know Vino lost a lot of time one a stage or two due to some bad food, and Tyler dropped out with a virus, so there are two big-time Tour riders who couldn’t climb into the top few places in the Vuelta.
I think Tyler dropped out cause of his wrist problem. He hit the floor on some stage and was suffering from pain. Now he is going to focus on the World Champs. This was what I heard.
Anyway… the vuelta is really exciting this year. Those three guys on the top are great climbers but none of them are any good at an ITT. Santi Perez is really kicking butt in this last week! I’d bet Valverde for the win but it’s going to be tight!
