Are you familiar with airbnb.com?
Just another resource suggestion.
Nope. I’ll check it out.
Thx
If you find something and want suggestions if it is a good area, let me know. Scottsdale is fairly spread out, and the properties up north can be pretty far away from most activities.
my wife and i have used airbnb finds a couple of times and have very good experiences. in fact tomorrow i’m going on a road trip/recon adventure from phoenix up to payson-flag-prescit (prescott for the non-locals) and stopping in prescott to look at an airbnb cabin.

Have you used anything beside airbnb a or vrbo. I ask because our tenant is moving out and we are going to convert her unit to a vacation rental and want to get the message out as much as possible.
I’m going to start a thread on this on Monday.
In the meantime, if you’re coming to Santa Barbara anytime after April, 2015 and would like to stay in a nice, fully furnished, 1 bed 1 bath, downtown…
Thanks all. Still checking everything out.

do i get a slowtwitch discount???
the only two that i or anyone i know have used are those two. the way i gather it is vrbo is/was longer term stays and generally at bigger properties, i.e. i don’t think you’d have been as likely to find a room for rent in a house. if you wanted a nice, big house for a family ski trip vrbo was the place to go. airbnb has everything from the big house to a room in someones home with the owner(s) there.
we went to the pnw last summer and needed a room for one night. the hotels were stupid expensive and we just needed a place to sleep before we headed for canada. we rented a room from a real nice young couple in everett. the 4 of us had dinner together and it was a very pleasant experience.
however, cover your ass.

I’d get them out.
Trip Advisor also has vacation rentals.
Hey, this is my VRBO is Scottsdale.
VRBO 557804
Funny, I am booked right up until March 15. Let me know via PM if you are interested. Note that you are in PRIME VRBO rental season due to it being Spring Training. My condo is right near the Giants stadium in Scottsdale (1.5 big block walk), on the free trolley line and walking distance to Old Town.
EDIT: oops, I see you are six, not 4. might be too small. pool in not heated but I’ve been in it in April and its refreshing…
Thanks, Sue
I have 2 vacation rentals on VRBO / Homeaway. I’ve have nothing but great things to say. I think its about $350 a year for a listing. Which is insanely reasonable. VRBO is the biggest name in the business and I simply don’t see any traffic from other sites to be worth it.
