Vittoria Tubie Glue

What would you guys reccomend. I have some panracer. I don’t want to start the huge debate, but what would you reccomned, and what should I avoid? Love the tufo tape, but like vittorias and veloflex tires more. Tubasti? fast tack? those are the questionable ones from what I have found.

Thanks

use the tape
.

If you use glue Vittoria Mastic 1 is the only glue 2 use. Tests the best on Al or carbon rims.

The Tufo tape holds well with no patience or technique required.

It’s easier to center tires with glue and you don’t need to carry any extra tapes around for your spares. Other than that it’s personal preference. I am used to glue after years of use so that’s what I prefer.

I like Continental best, absolutely f*#*ing hake Hutchinson glue and think Panaracer is pretty sweet glue as well. Heard they stopped making hte Vittoria. Never tried the tape but the glue is pretty easy as long as it’s not Hutchinson.

Hutchinson glue is arguably not glue. I don’t see how it can possibly hold a tire on a rim. if you do a google search for tubular glue, you should come up with test results showing that Vittoria Mastik One (still made) is the strongest, and I think Conti is nearly as strong. Conti recommends using their glue with their tubulars…

I would rather glue. Apparently one is not supposed to tape veloflex tires. Sounds like conti and vittoria are the best.

thanks

they all smell great to me (Tubbie user since 1970) I use what ever I can get. I not religious about my glues only my frame material.
