Has anyone ever used this product? Sounds good for IM races or HIM’s it could save the time of changing a tubular out.

just be sure you get a good seal when you inflate with it

.
awesome stuff. It saved 2 races for me this year. The first race was an Olympic distance - I flatted on tubulars the day before the race and had no spare. The Pittstop held through the race and I even managed an age-group award. Next was an Ironman in a heavy rainstorm with standing water on the course. I did not carry a spare (stupidly, but I don’t think a spare would have held anyway since we had to bike through standing water). It did not hold completely, but it held enough air to get me to the end of the bike instead of DNF-ing.
Great stuff…got an extra 1000 miles on well used tubies. It worked every time I used it.
This is what happened to me when I got a flat during a workout.
You should either practice using it at home beforehand, or bring along some backup (C02 cartridges/pump) just in case.

My take.
Like I posted it did not work for me. But I plan on taking a can on my 70.3 and full this year. If it works great…if not I try to change my tubie.
So then Slime would be a better choice? Joe B uses Slime instead of VPS.
Can I use Vittoria Pit Stop as preventive instead of using it after flatting ?
Is this stuff only for tubies? If so, is there anything comparable for clinchers? Thanks
Ok, why?
I just found a post you put up a while back. Interesting but is it better then VPS or just different. Anyway, I don’t think the valve extender is an issue with VPS. But with the Slime, I don’t think you can use the Zipp type extenders.

How does the Pit Stop work with a Zipp disc? Is it possible to get the canister up to the valve - or do you have to transport the little “pipe” adapter as well?
I have the same question. Its difficult to inflate mt Disk as it is. In fact I was thinking I may need to enlarge the whole a bit for regular air fills.
What’s the effect on rolling resistance? For example, if Crr goes from 0.003 to 0.0035 for 18g of stuff sloshing around in the tire, with 80 kg net mass going 11 mps, that’s 4.3 watts squandered. That means the race tire becomes a training tire.
