Looking for the same info…

I just a pair of these in tubular, they seem pretty nice, haven’t raced on them yet. I have it on very good authority that they roll slightly better than the old version. However, they are lighter than last year, so that is always a good thing. For one of the fastest tires, clincher or tubular, the Bontrager Race X Lite Pro is one of the fastest tires out there, with decent puncture resistance (they are a Vittoria tire). I chose the new Vittoria’s over the Bontrager, which I raced last year on, because of the added puncture resistance, more than the rolling resistance advantage of the Bontrager, as the new tire should be more able to resist trash in the road. Also, it is lighter as I mentioned before. Al from Biketechreview should have a new tire chart out soon, if rolling resistance is the highest priority on your list.

thanks for your reply
i actually ran a bontrager x lite last year and had a bad run of punctures so changed back to corsa cx guess my choice now is corsa or specialized???

Not so, here’s a nice listing of all sorts of tires you might like, many are wonderful handmade models that should ride great. I’d expectthe Dugast road tires would be a real treat:

I noticed these too and was curious about them.

I just ordered my set so I will post a review in a few weeks.

Looks like the RR is essentially the same (at least in the tubular version), but it may have a little more puncture protection. Given the same casing I would assume similar results with the clinchers.
