Visor on helmet or not?

I have an older Bell helmet that has a nearly round profile. I have covered it with duct tape to create my cheap version of a Giro Air Attack. Should I run it with or without a visor? I have a clear visor that attaches with Velcro to the front of the helmet. It comes down to my nose, but it sits about 2" in front of my nose. The edge of the visor then gradually curves up towards the sides of the helmet. Discuss.

Test both and see which is faster. Aero is a tricky thing. FWIW, I ran tests on the Bambino with and without visor. Without was clearly faster. YMMV.

The test you did on the bambino, can you give more info as to how much faster it was without the visor? How was it tested? And with the visor off, did you wear sunglasses?
Thx!
