I have some Visiontech Pros that I need to make a riser for the armrests of about 2 1/4". My LBS thought that if they were solid as opposed to hollow like the VT risers that I wouldnt have a problem. Just drill the aluminum and bolt them on. Has anyone tried this.
Doug from FSA here.
Have you called us about getting a TriMax riser kit? If no, you should call Peter and see if he can set you up with what you need. Honestly, I’m not sure if we have them in stock at this moment, but if we do, they would do a good job. our number is 877 RIDE FSA.

Thanks. Allready talked to Peter who gave me some good suggestions but they all had me making something and I thought this would be easiet. I am open to all ideas.
Okay so I seem to recall that 1 inch is ~ equal to 2.54 cm’s right - so a 2 1/4" riser would be like 5.71 cm’s right? How about simply getting longer bolts and stack a 40mm and 25mm riser? If you have a 25mm riser, I have a 40mm riser that is leftover from the wife’s recently purchased Vision Tech clipons - I would be happy to let you have them and will even cover the cost of 1st class postage if you are in the US - otherwise I think I will see if the general public is up for spending $5 bucks for them on Ebay!
