Visiontech riser question

Is is possible to use the Visiontech TT bars without any spacers? Or, the real question is: what comes in a standard TT kit? I’ve only got the 25mm spacers and that seems quite high. I know they make a 12.5mm spacer as part of the spacer kit, but is there any way to mount the pads directly to the bars?

It looks like it should be possible (Home Depot, the best sporting goods store in the world), but the pads won’t sit flush on the round part of the bars. I could probably make a 2-3mm shim to make everything fit right, but if they already make the part, it wouldn’t be worth my time to do it.

Yes you can but the angles and curves of the arm rests and base bar make it not very secure. You are correct about a shim. Cut one of the 25mm risers to make the shims. It is easy to cut with a hack saw then use a file to clean it up and smooth the edges. You will also need to get some shorter countersunk screws. If lowering your position you might also consider a -17deg or even an adjustable stem.
