Do you mean the ones that go between the base bar and the clip-ons? They elevate the pads slightly? Work fine for me.
Have you used the ones in the picture or the ones the come with the extensions. On VT’s website they say these raise the bars 40mm compared to the 15mm and 25mm spacers that come with the clip-ons.
Mine were the ones that came with one of the earlier one piece aluminium bars. Not sure what size they were. I found the bars felt more comfortable with the spacers than without.
I have the C spacers pictured. Very easy to install, but don’t really raise the elbow rests that much because they, like the wing shaped 1.5 and 2.5 CM spacers install on an angle, i.e., not straight up. I actually had to add back the 1.5cms on top of the C spacers to get the height/comfort I was looking for. I have had no issues with this setup.
Are they higer then the 25mm spacer that comes with the carbon pro clip-on? If so I am interested. Where did you purchase them I can’t find them anywhere?
The C spacers are a little, probably 0.5cm higher than the 2.5cm spacers that come with the bars. I ordered both the c-spacers and 1.5cm spacers from Insideout Sports. Mike Beaman is a great guy and offers very good customer service. He did not have the C-spacers in stock, but was able to get them within a few weeks.
