First impressions are good. Really like the weight, design, and extensions. More to follow…
R bend? Is that what they are calling them?
Yep. “R Bend” for “Race.”

Do you have clip ons or 1 piece?
Where did you get 'em?
And like the other fella asked: Clip-ons or one piece aerobars?
Purchased the one-piece, integrated bar. Comes standard with a 90mm stem and the extensions are cut to length as described in the article linked above. Really happy with the overall weight and construction.
can you put non-visiontech/FSA brake levers on them?
where did you get the bars? where can we get them?
really happy with what wt? HOW much do they weigh?
and do you work for FSA and is this post “guerilla marketing”? i am starting to suspect so…
Trisports.com. I had these on backorder for like a year.
Tom: I would have easily nominated them yesterday for your Vaporware Award in the “Best un-seen performance in an aerobar” category but, alas, I have them now hence, the Syntace (Linear Components’) Blackbird got the nomination.
Greg X: Nope, don’t work for FSA. As for weight, I have no scale so I’m using my perceived, five-finger method. I believe the target weight is around 850-900 grams given the ability to remove a portion of the extension.
thanks for the info.
how much do they cost? do they have more of them as far as you know?
I believe TriSports have the clipons in stock
.
Maybe its the perspective, but the bends there dont seem to do any good. “Normal” S-bends arent just there to raise the flat portion of the aerobars up to a convenient height relative to the armrests - they serve as something to choke up on when needed. These bends seem too shallow, and too far back.
But maybe this is an entirely new kind of bend, since theyve given it a new name…but Ill stick to lusting over the Hed bars.
