Vision Tech Base Bar Availability

I am looking for the aluminium base bar and alloy clip ons. I placed my order a long time ago. My LBS is telling me their distributors (Quality and Olympic) don’t have them in stock. Are these bars really that hard to get or is my LBS handing me a line. Does anyone know of a distrubtor stocking these items?

I was able to get mine very easily. But I have never tried to order them.

Read the blog, and you will see if they are worth ordering.

Availability with FSA/Vision Tech is always an issue, but I can tell you as of this very moment I know of more than one distributor that has the base bar in stock. The alloy clip-ons may be a little trickier to find depending on what size you need. I know that Vision just got a big shipment out this past week to their distributors. That being said, if you LBS does not get you what you need send me a PM and I can help you out. Best of luck.

Hey Mike, I should have a brand new Visiontech aluminum base bar and clip on, complete aero bar setup for sale next week. It’s coming on my new P3sl but I’m keeping my old HED bars as I’m pretty used to and happy with them. PM me if you are interested. Bike will probably show up this week or early next week.

As of right now, Quality has 40 of them in 40cm width, and 27 of then in 42cm width.

If they are telling you they are out of stock, you won’t be getting them for many monthes. There should be a number of places on-line that have them in stock.
If you still want to go through your lbs you might as well have them try and get the new Profile aeor wing thingy. It won’t be quite as aero, but the cool factor is there.

Wow. I was in B&L Saturday, and they had half a dozen base bars hanging on the wall, and the Al clipons in every size. I ordered the carbon clipons (because I wanted 26.0 without using an adapter) and they got them in today.

I’ve had those base bars since October, and they are a fine piece of equipment.

We called Quality on Monday and they only had 12 left. An order was placed and the bars arrived today.

There are plenty of Base Bars in the pipeline. All distributors should have them as I have them sitting in my warehouse too.

Also, Mini clip-ons are available again.
