saw an ad or a pair of these bars, anyone tried them on their road bikes? still getting used to riding this shallow and is it normal for your lower back to feel a bit sore?
I used a pair of these for a couple of hilly 1/2 IM 2 years ago and loved them, your forearms fit nicely in the arm rests and the short extensions allow you to get lots of leverage going up hills in the aero position.
they’re comfortable bars, i felt faster while using them. my position on the roadie while in the aerobars was actually unchanged from my normal position on the hoods, only my arm position was differed, so i didn’t experience any soreness due to change in position.
that`s great, i have hear a lot of stories about this pair but chances are these were stories from people who tried to ride their road bikes steep. i think these bars are indeed made for the roadie in mind who would want a break from being on the drops
