I installed a set of Vision Brake levers on my bike tonight and they RATTLE. Worse than the 188 that I had prior.
Any solutions to stop the rattling?
Thanks.

Yeh mine did the same think and narrowed the problem down to the plastic “cover” things. I used some black electrical tape to stop the rattling w/o changing the look. Hope this fixes it
you need to remove the brake levers and sand down a bit of the finish on the bars where the lever clamps around the bar. This will allow the clamp to tighten up more, thus making the fit of the bar end plug better. The more the clamp tightens, the better the fit of the plug.
Mike,
Thanks for the tip. However, it is the lever not the cap that is the source of the noise. The lever seems exceptional loose at the pivot-- the silver rivet in the photo below. The cap is tight and does not move.
I second the tape recommendation. I useda very thin wrap of teflon tape around the retention area or the little lip that holds the cover in place. This formed a little “gasket” or “O” ring to prevent vibration.

So… would you recommend buying something that requires post-purchase modifications to work properly? Seems silly…
I have also installed the lever and also have rattling around the rivet, any thoughts??
I contacted FSA and got this response:
Yes this has been brought to our attn before and yes there is a solution, more than one actually, you can either, go to your local hardware store and find a tiny black rubber o-ring to slip over the end of the rivet pin to sit in between the end of that pin and the lever itself which will take up some of the “slop” or.
You can call and get a return authorization from one of us in the office and send them back to be replaced with a new pair that seem to fit a little tighter than the old ones. Granted they are still a little loose so as to not bind the cable and allow smooth braking action and so forth but they definitely seem to be a little better than that last production run.
