Bottom line:
10 athletes tested, 4 clean samples, 2 positive for EPO.
and the other 4 ? dirty on something else but EPO ?
They call one of the samples “not detectable” and 3 others “not qualifiable”.
They also talk about the samples taken at the Madrid WC, all clean.
I hear some sort of bovine extract is what the World Anti-Doping Federation are up against these days…
Bovine epo is old news, at least 5-7 yrs old.
That being said there is more drug use in triathlon than most people want to acknowledge.
