Has anyone tried Virgin America yet?
I’m guessing the answer is no.
As chance would have it I was in a meeting with a VP of Virgin America this morning…they don’t launch for another week or two. All sorts of fun things are being planned in San Francisco.

From the website, I thought they were already doing the SF-NY route, I guess not. Looks like kinda JetBlue but with a cheap first class section.
They may have had a soft launch, but the big party, ribbon cutting, bottle of bubbly on the nose of the plane stuff is next week.
SFO is getting busy…Southwest are coming back, Virgin America chose it as their hub, and Aer Lingus start flights in October. Hopefully that all means cheaper flights for us Bayareans.
