I have a vintage Heuer divers watch circa '75-'76. I have had it since HS. I would like to get a stainless steel bracelet for it. But when I look on ebay they are sky $ high. I might settle for a leather band, as it would be much more reasonable. I purchased a SS bracelet, just a run of the mill, but the spring pins break due to the weight of the watch. I even got some heavier duty pins, and one broke. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can look for info and purchase a SS bracelet without selling a car to pay for it? Is it possible to get a replica bracelet or band?
Sorry, can’t help you. I also have a Heuer watch - about 10 years newer than yours. I needed it worked on last year and sent it back to their location in NJ. Cost a small fortune.
check out onthedash.com A nice Heuer forum, I bellieve they have a classified section. You will most likely pay for a vintage bracelet, if you can find one. Easy to find replica newer bracelets. For a cheap option you can find a off brand braclet, that would fit your Hueur, most likely a 20 mm or 22mm lug width. Easy also to find leather bands that size.
