So, now that the foregone conclusion is confirmed, what do you all think of Vino’s chances? Podium?, Top 10?, Stage maybe?, DNF, Test Positive?
Me, I think a stage will be feasible, but I kind of hope he goes away early…

At least he served a couple of years. Others, like the guy who won numerous tours, are still riding unpunished.
What? Where in what I asked did you come up with that? This is a prediction question…try to at least post a prediction or just don’t bother to do anything.
A wise observer once said: “what can be left to later, usually is – and then, alas, it’s too late.”

I think he will be ok for a while. I think he’ll end up like 22nd overall or so, and really not a factor. He may get a top 3 for a stage, but overall I think he will be more of a non factor than a factor. Hell, I’ll put Horner above him on the team in leadership as I could see him finish higher than Vino.
I could see Horner top 12ish.
Why do you hate America?
Those Canadians. And Mexicans. And Guatemalans. And Brazilians (well, not the chicks). And Panamanians. It’s just…
But I do love the USA!

Horner’s needs a good result to sign a good contract ($$$) after this year’s bad luck.
The problem is that the transfer/contract date is 1 September, so if he waits to sign a deal after the Vuelta he risks no deal at all if things go really wrong. I believe he will announce his new team (or his current team) right around the 1st along with most others.

“Astana’s Chris Horner was involved in the massive pile-up that involved more than 40 riders. Preliminar reports suggest he has suffered injuries serious enough to force his withdrawal from the Vuelta.”
You don’t have a Horner voodoo doll, do you?
Vino? Hoping for a DNF, Test Positive, or maybe just 50 flats.
