Just interested to see if anyone has done Vineman Half and Florida IM/ HalfIM, how does it compare. I have heard they are similar courses in terms of times etc… but anyone actually got any real feedback from experience?

Don’t see how they could be that similar since VM has lots of rolling hills and IMF is pancake flat. VM is also multi-lap affair in dammed up section of river vs ocean swim. VM has get warm in the afternoon but no humidity to worry about. Finally there are no decent wineries to go visit after IMF so you may as well come out here.
If you are comparing Vineman & Half & Ironman Florida, Mike is right … absolutely, positively ZERO comparison. (i know the vineman courses intimately & been on the IM Florida course) If you are asking about Vineman terrain vs Great Floridian terrain thats all together a different story. If this is the comparison you are looking at you will see some course some similarities … potentialy VERY different weather though (humid vs dry). I’ve had athletes do both and they felt vineman course was a little harder (they had good weather at both events) … of course some people may think slightly different.
