Got to admit, the kid has decent ground defense…Kimbo could learn a few things from him!

Rodney King! Rodney King!
I am calling Jessie Jackson and Louis Farakahn (sp) right now!
Oh…wait a minute…
Is farrahkhesh still alive? I thought he was dead already?
That kid is a pussy.
He should have smacked that bitch into next week.
thats pretty messed up. damn, In all my years working in education, I have never seen anything like that. and what school is this that the teacher is allowed to dress that way???
I disagree. I counted 3 EASY opportunities to put her in his guard. I would’ve loved to have put her in an arm bar if I were his age.
why do hate the “gangsta” wardrobe?
Why are you so close minded about attire? Isnt there another thread on that?
Not that it makes it right - I would LOVE to know what lead up to that incidient. Here in RP205 there was an instance where a student (7th grade) told a teacher that he was going to rape her daughter when he got out of school (teachers daughter). I am not at all certain how the teacher kept her cool as well as she did when the student who was a known trouble maker made that comment.
Just as with most of the sensational news - we will never ever know the whole story.
I dont think Kimbo can spell “arm bar”…I was thinking more of avoiding a “bitch slap”!
I have read that the teacher went off on the boy because he was picking on a special needs student.
I could see that, I work entirely in special needs, all different sorts from mild retardation to just straight out behavioral problems, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING ets me fired up and in a students face quicker than a punk bully trying to mess with a kid who is defensless and not looking for trouble. I could see why that teacher would do that (not that its okay or that she should have but I could understand the motivation if that is true)
.
So she reacted to a kid picking on another who was probably defenseless…I say we give this teacher an award.
I bet that 90%+ of the folks on this site would defend a handicapped person (mentally or physically) in a public environment if they saw some thug kid victimizing them…and if it came to it with physical action. If this was in a shopping mall as opposed to a “special school” the story I am sure would be quite different.
“Woman protects handicapped child from thugs” would probably be the headline.
I agree 100%, unfortunatly the school systems and courts dont see it that way.
.
Myfoxhouston.com is reporting a physical education teacher at Jamie’s House Charter School in northwest Houston allegedly punched, kicked and slammed a 13-year-old student’s head against the wall as another student filmed the incident.
Don’t you get to drop the “Allegedly” part once it’s on video tape
What’s the defense “Oh no that’s all done on photoshop and multimedia editing”

I bet that when the kids mother gets out of the welfare office and lawyers up she will get a nice settlement from the school…maybe she can get her pride and joy of a son a nice new grill.

I went an elementary school that was 50% special needs and 50% uh…other (saying “normal” seems rude to me). Each handicapped student was paired with a non-handicapped student for an hour a day to work on projects together. This was probably one of the more enriching activities I had as a kid.
