Imagine if someone had convinced you to add this feature to firefox.

What bike is he riding. It looks like the trek madone 4.7 but it probably isn’t. Does anyone know?
That is an amazing add on… thank you
Why do I think your cow-orkers will hate me? ![]()

That climb looks so easy from a scooter.

I like how he has a helmet on at about 1:49 into the video and then at 1:50 or so no helmet. Carmichael says in the introduction that this video was from the third time Lance did the climb, so did he ditch the helmet mid-ride?
More like my friends at school will hate me… hey can I check my email on your computer?
On the video it says," Haloko Rd." but it’s a miss type. the road is a hellish little stretch of road called Kaloko that goes for 1500 feet to about 7000 in about in 6.5 miles. it’s about 4 miles from town on Mamalahoa Highway.
Great video, that looks intense
But man, Carmichael is way too nice! Too many "way to go"s and "looking good"s in there for me. If I was trying to push myself hard up that mountain, I want my coach screaming obscenities and telling me he’ll run me over with the scooter if I go any slower! ![]()
To put it politely… that climb is a bitch!

Contemplating it for Tuesday’s ride. Hmmmmm. ![]()
This is NOT meant to be a critique, merely an observation - and it’s just that, an observation from watching him ride in motion from the side for an extended period of time.
I have noticed this before with other top level roadies is, what appears to be a, less than what would be considered “Normal” or optimal leg extention at 6:00 o-clock. Or looked at another way they ride with a slightly lower saddle than I see many other riders ride.
So you are saying
our seats are too high perhaps?

Jack,
Not sure. I know their is a natural range with this and perhaps Armstrong and others, that give this visual, are at the absolute bottom of this range. FWIW - Just appealing to the fit and power gurus for their opnions.
Great video !

Seriously… The only way this would work for me is if irritation were a form of motivation. I’d ride like hell to try to get away from that. Do you think LA likes that stuff? I can’t believe that kind of cheerleading goes on at that level of athletics. Sounds like something you’d hear from a personal trainer working with new client at the gym.
Are the ‘others’ to which you refer properly set up?
